DAAD-supported project

The DAAD-funded lecture series "Gender and Crime" is a seminar for Ukrainian students. Within the framework of the online lectures, students are enabled to continue their studies and to deal with gender references in criminal law despite the war, closed universities and flight.

The project was developed in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Kateryna Ilikchiieva (Kyiv National Economic University). At the University of Konstanz, it is organized by Dr. Julia Geneuss and Prof. Dr. Liane Wörner.

Panel discussion

The seminar will conclude with a panel discussion open to the public (hybrid event) on 26.01.2023 (17:00-20:15, R513). The panel discussion will be opened by Prof. Dr. Liane Wörner and chaired by Prof. Dr. Krisztina Karsai. The speakers Dr. Julia Geneuss, Dr. Anna Adamska-Gallant, Prof. Dr. Kateryna Ilikchiieva and Alina Pavliuk will talk about issues of prosecution of sexual and gender-based offenses in war situations.
