Requirements to do a doctorate

Before you apply for a doctoral degree, please examine whether you meet the requirements according to the current version of the doctoral regulations. Please also consider the specific regulations.

Only applications that are submitted in writing with the customary documents (curriculum vitae, exam results from the course of studies, State Examination certificate(s), seminar certificate and seminar thesis - not necessarily the original documents) will be considered. Please include a topic proposal for your dissertation, an outline on why you think the topic is worthwhile as well as a motivational letter on why you are interested in doing your doctorate and working on a scientific thesis.
